What is Ginocide.com?
Ginocide.com was born on July 18th, 2003. I started it out of boredom
about a month or so beforehand, first as an online journal, then it grew fairly
rapidly to have more features. I added music mini-reviews, funny pictures
from the internet, and pictures of my friends from parties we had. As more
of my friends started visiting the site, the more friend-centralized it became.
It's now basically a way for all of us to stay connected. Hang on, I need
a Kleenex... I believe the central features of the site are the
Hilarious Caption
Contest and the
forum. That's basically it. Enjoy.
How can I receive news as to when Ginocide.com is updated?
Join the mailing
list. It's on the bottom-right cell of the Home page. Generally,
the site is updated every other Thursday, but sometimes weekly.
I want to profess my undying love for Ginocide.com or give Gino new
ideas to make the site better. How can I?

Since I don't have a stockpile of leftover merchandise, shirts must be ordered

What is the Ginocide.com forum?
The Ginocide.com forum is where the visitors of Ginocide.com discuss various
things such as movies, music, tech stuff, funny stuff, or just about anything
else. It is built on the popular phpBB forum software.

I can read posts made by others, but why can't I make posts on the
forum?
Due to abuse in the past by random users, only registered members can post on
the forum.
Click here to register. Be forewarned, using false names or
registering with malicious intent will not be tolerated and you will be promptly
banned from the forum. We are a small community and we welcome newcomers,
just be yourself and try not to be too much of an ass.
Alright, I've registered, why can't I post yet?
Due to abuse in the past by registered users, all user registrations must
be approved by me. I know it sucks, but those are the rules. As
stated above, don't pretend to be anyone else or hide behind a silly name just
so you can slander others.
I am one of the billions of irrational people who are afraid of
clowns. Do I have to see the scary clown guy on the forum?
First of all, his name is Foo Foo and he must be respected. Currently
there are two themes for the forum, smartDark (default) and subSilver. To
change the theme, go to your profile (in the menu near the top of the page),
scroll down and change the Board Style to subSilver. Scroll down and click
on Submit.
I'm sorry, I'm not a huge nerd. What's an avatar?
An avatar is basically a buddy icon. Your avatar will display next to all
of your posts. The avatar can be no larger than 150 pixels wide by 150
pixels high and 49 kilobytes. You can change your avatar by going to your
profile and scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the page.
